Complete adze. The cross section of the butt is circular. The cross section of the blade is asymmetrical: the proper right side is approximately rectangular with rounded edges; the proper left side is approximately trapezoidal with rounded edges, and with the back narrower than the front. The surface is bruised. It is speckled with dark brown splotches, streaks and blemishes, some of which appear crystalline. The proper right side is dominated by dark brown discolouration which resembles dirt. The butt is differentiated by a change in cross section, and a slight reduction from the shoulder to the poll. The bevel is demarcated by a ridge resulting from the trapezoidal cross section on the proper left side, but is otherwise continuous with the blade.
