Museum Entry
Entry to Tūhura Otago Museum and its seven permanent galleries is free, but charges may apply for the Tūhura Science Centre, Planetarium, special exhibitions and events.
Donations are greatly appreciated and help us offer new experiences to our visitors. They can be made online or at one of the many donation boxes found across the Museum including Manu the Moa by the Museum entrance.

All tickets can be purchased from the Information Desk on the Ground Floor or online
Children under the age of 14 visiting the Museum must be supervised by a responsible person who is at least 14 years old

Ticket Pricing at Tūhura
Spend the day exploring our seven free galleries for free, explore Aotearoa’s largest science centre including a tropical butterfly forest, a three-storey slide and 43 other hands-on interactives. Why not combine your experience and add-on a film screening in our 360° Planetarium. For those interested inenjoying our Science Centre at a discounted rate, we have our Tūhura Science Centre Annual Pass.
