Planetarium
The World’s Southernmost Planetarium
Explore the Universe and see the night sky up close in the Tūhura Planetarium!
Our domed theatre is designed to provide a fully immersive experience with a 360° view of the screen.
We recommend the interactive planetarium show Night Sky Live if you’d like a tour of the local night sky with commentary from our science communicators.
Take a guided look at our southern skies or one of our popular documentaries exploring topics from dinosaurs to space exploration.
