Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Cross section is trapezoidal with the back narrower than the front. The surface is ground with some bruising on the proper left side. There is a large chip on the proper right edge of the front, and another on the proper left edge of the back. The butt is undifferentiated. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The front of the blade tapers from the cutting edge making it difficult to distinguish from the bevel. The cutting edge is sharp and curved. The blade tapers towards the poll.
