Complete adze. Stone. Black. Cross-section is oval. Surface is ground on front and back on lower blade, bruised on sides, upper blade and back, with some flaking. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is sharp and curved. "Taieri Beach" written in pencil on back.
