Complete adze. Stone. Black. Cross-section of blade is trapezoidal with back narrower than front. Cross-section of butt is semi-circular, back flattened. Surface of blade is ground, becoming ground on butt. Major differentiation between butt and blade, front and sides reduced. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, and heavily chipped. Otago written on front.
