Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Light green pounamu. Surface is ground and flaked. Large flake missing out of the back side, creating a ridge running from the proper left side of the bevel to the proper right side of the poll. Cross-section is rectangular. Front and sides of adze are reduced; sides taper toward the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a straight line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp. "Kaikoura." and "A32.26" inscription on front.
