Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Dark grey. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is mostly ground, with some flaking and bruising on sides. Large flake scar on proper right of front. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll and front slopes down towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a ridge at the chin. The cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped. "Moeraki" written twice on back.
