Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Asymmetrical cross-section. The surface is bruised and flaked with some ground areas on the lower blade. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper in from the cutting edge towards the rounded poll. The bevel is is demarcated by asymmetrical ridges on the sides that form an off-centre flat spine. The cutting edge is straight, blunt and flaked.
