Broken adze (fragments missing from back and poll). Basalt. Dark grey. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is partially ground on front, with some bruising. Surface is flaked on back and sides. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, upper butt not present). Bevel is demarcated by break in adze, fragment missing from back. Cutting edge is sharp and straight. "Shag River" written on front.
