Adze, Toki
Broken adze (blade remaining). Stone. Dark grey. Cross-section is oval at upper blade, and rectangular at lower blade. Surface is ground on lower blade, becoming bruised on upper blade and flaked near broken edge. Butt not present. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, chipped. "Taieri Plain" written on proper left side and front.
