Adze, Toki
Complete adze (previously in two pieces, but readhered together). Cross-section is triangular at butt, with apex to front, cross-section becoming trapezoidal on blade with front narrower than blade. Surface is ground on front blade, and bevel, bruised elsewhere, with some flaking on shoulder and back edges. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped. "Waitaki" written on front and back.
