Adze, Toki
Broken adze (butt remaining). Stone. Dark grey, and dark brown. Cross-section is trapezoidal with front narrower than back at poll, becoming oval further down butt. Sides of butt taper slightly towards poll. Surface is ground, with some light bruising. Bevel and cutting edge not present. "Shag River" written on front.
