Complete adze Cross-section of butt is rectangular, while the cross-section of the blade is lenticular. Surface is ground on front and back, while the surface of the sides is bruised. Major differentiation between blade and butt, front and sides reduced. One large lug on front of butt. Bevel demarcated by a straight line. Cutting edge is curved and sharp, with a chip on the proper left.
