Adze, Toki
Large complete adze. Trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. The surface is mostly ground with bruising especially on the butt. There is a curved shoulder on the front of the blade and a reduction in the stone on the front and sides. The butt flares out at the poll. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and chipped.
