Tea Cosy
Kete Muka (Tea Cosy). Woven from undyed and dyed black and blue muka using whatu Whatu aho patahi (single-pair weft-twining). Mawhitiwhiti (woven cross stitch pattern work) decorates the kaupapa (body) . Frill work woven outer edge with six tassels attached to the lower part of this kete with muka cord made using the miro (rolling) technique. This kete is lined with sewn fabric.
