Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Mid green pounamu. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground with sawing marks on proper left side. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, with front proper right side slightly reduced to form a shoulder. Sides taper toward poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp. "Inch Clutha" inscription on proper left side.
