Chisel, Whao
Complete chisel. Pounamu. Dark green/grey. Cross-section is asymmetrical, almost rectangular if not for sawing mark down proper left side. Surface is ground, sawing mark down proper left side, flaked at poll. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, proper right tapers towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is sharp and angled, chipped along cutting edge. Otago written on front.
