Adze, Toki

Broken adze, mid-blade remaining. Dark grey and dark brown stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground and flaked. Sides are slightly reduced to form shoulders. Large flake missing from top of butt; poll has broken off. Bevel has been flaked off on either side but a part of a line in the centre remains. Cutting edge is not present. "W.M." inscription
