Adze, Toki

Complete adze. Stone. Dark grey, grey. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front and front rounded. Surface is mostly ground with some bruising. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, sides slightly reduced, forming very small shoulder. Sides taper towards poll, and back of butt slopes up dramatically to poll which is pointed. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. Southland ? written on front, 2 overlapping white stickers on back.
