Adze, Toki

Broken adze (blade remaining, though previously in 2 pieces, now fixed). Basalt. Mid grey, dark grey. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface is mostly ground, flaking on proper left of back and proper right side. Sides taper towards broken edge. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, large chip on proper right side. "Waitaki" written on front.
