Complete adze. Greywacke. Dark grey and light grey. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front, front rounded. Surface is ground. Major differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced forming small shoulder, after shoulder are 2 ridges, one mid-butt and one at poll, with areas reduced between ridges. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is blunt and curved, chipped. Southland written on front. Special features include the ridges on butt.
