Complete adze. Mid green pounamu. Surface is ground and bruised. Cross-section is rectangular. No differentiation between butt and blade; sides taper toward poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp. "Kaikoura." inscribed on front and old number "A32.28" inscribed on back.
