Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Mid green pounamu. Cross-section is rectangular on the blade and trapezoidal on the butt, with the front narrower than the back. Surface is ground and bruised. Sides of the butt are reduced to form shoulders and taper toward the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp. "Waimate." inscription on the front.
