Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Dark green pounamu. Cross-section is oval. Surface is ground and bruised. Minor differentiation between butt and blade with sides and front of butt reduced to form two ridges, one at the shoulders and one near the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is curved and flaked. "Hanging Rock. S.C." inscription on front.
