complete adze Trapezoidal cross-section with back narrower than the front Most of the adze's surface is bruised, with flake scars at the poll and a ground bevel and front of blade. There is a reduction in the side of the butt on the proper right. The butt is differentiated from the blade by a clear shoulder on the proper right and on the front of the butt. The proper left side has no differentiation between the blade and the butt The bevel is continuous with the blade and only demarcated by a narrow and irregular band of ground surface. The cutting edge is sharp and curved
