Chisel, Whao

Broken pounamu chisel, proper right side of cutting edge missing. The cross section is asymmetric due to the break, the cross section of the remaining blade implies an original lenticular cross section. There is flaking on both the front and back. There is tapering of the sides towards the poll. The surface is ground, including over the top of the break. The proper left side has sawing marks. Both sides are bevelled, and both are demarcated by straight lines.
