Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Dark green pounamu. Surface is ground with bruising on proper left side and sawing marks on proper right side. Cross section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. No differentiation between butt and blade; sides taper toward poll. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is curved, sharp, and chipped. "Milton" inscription.
