Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Black stone. Trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. The surface is mostly bruised and flaked, with ground areas on the lower blade. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The bevel is demarcated by a faint asymmetrical line. The cutting edge is straight and sharp.
