Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Grey stone. Trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. The surface is mostly bruised with flake scars on the butt and the front proper right. There are ground areas on the blade. There are small rounded shoulders on the sides of the front, and stone on the front and proper left side of the butt is reduced. The poll is flaked. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is straight, oblique and chipped.
