Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Mid-green pounamu. Surface is ground and bruised. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with the back narrower than the front. Major differentiation between butt and blade, with sides and front of butt reduced to form shoulders. Bevel is demarcated by a curved line. Cutting edge is slightly curved and sharp. "Tokata" inscription on front and back.
