Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Black stone. Lenticular cross-section. The surface is mostly flaked and bruised, with a ground bevel and front of the lower blade. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The bevel is demarcated by irregular lines that meet in the middle of the blade, forming a triangle. The bevel is slightly concave. The cutting edge is smooth, curved and sharp with some small chips. There is the remnants of a small piece of paper adhered to the front of the butt.
