Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Pounamu. Dark green, mid green, light green, silver. Cross-section is asymmetrical, due to unbroken section of pounamu worked through with sawing marks hanging off proper left side. Surface is mostly ground, with bruising on proper right front. Sawing marks down front and back towards proper left. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is blunt and curved, chipped. "Little Papanui" written on front.
