Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Dark grey. Cross-section of blade is rectangular, cross-section of butt is semi-circular, back flattened. Surface mostly bruised, ground areas on lower blade. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced, forming small shoulder. One lug on poll end of butt. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is blunt and straight, chipped. Waipapa Point Southland written on front.
