Adze, Toki
Broken adze (fragment missing from front lower blade). Pounamu. Dark green, mid green, mid grey. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface is partially ground down back, with bruising on butt and front. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards blade. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge mostly chipped. "M.B." written on front and back.
