complete adze Asymmetrical and irregular cross-section The adze has a flaked surface down the front proper right side and at the top of the proper left front, and at cutting edge. There is a large flake scar on the back proper right, and more along the top edge and proper left side. There is a slight tapering of the adze as it goes from cutting edge to butt, but there is no real differentiation. There is a curve on the surface of the proper left side of the front which is outlined by flake scars. The cutting edge is sharp but irregular with some flake scars. The bevel is narrow and flat, and is demarcated by a slight straight ridge. There is the paper back of a sticky label adhered to the back of the adze
