Adze, Toki
Broken incomplete adze, butt end only. Greenstone. The cross-section is trapezoidal. The surface is flaked, with ground surface on one side of the butt, and ground with saw marks on one side. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade, the blade tapers in towards the poll. It is not clear which side is the front. There is no bevel, but a flaked broken edge.
