Adze, Toki
Complete adze. The cross section of the blade is rectangular. The cross section of the butt is plano-convex with the back flattened. The surface of the sides are flaked and bruised. The surface of the butt and back are bruised the surface of the bevel and the front of the blade are ground. The butt is differentiated by a change in cross section and an increased reduction from the shoulder to the poll. The bevel is demarcated by the differential treatment of the surface. The cutting edge is asymmetrically curved with the proper right side of the blade longer than the left. The edge is chipped and blunt.
