Chisel, Whao

Broken pounamu chisel, lower blade remaining. The cross section is trapezoidal, with the back narrower than the front. The surface is ground, with flaking along the proper right side. There are sawing marks on the proper left side. The bevel is demarcated by a straight line. The cutting edge is straight and sharp.
