Spear Head

Wooden spear. Oval in cross-section. The distal end is separately numbered as D48.293, but has been reattached to the proximal end with adhesive. Tapered to a point at distal end, the tip of which is broken. The spear head has been broken off and repaired with an adhesive. Three sets of two barbs on the top surface. The edges of the barbs and the longitudinal ridge on the top surface are notched. The proximal end has broken off in two places and been reattached with adhesive. Surface of the proximal end has geometric carvings and is charred where it has been repaired.
