Complete adze. Dark grey stone. Surface is ground and bruised. Cross-section is rectangular. Differentiation between butt and blade, with the sides of the butt reduced to form shoulders, particularly noticeable on the proper left side. Bevel is demarcated by a curved line. Cutting edge is curved and sharp. "Kaitangata." inscription.
