Pendant, He Kura

Complete pounamu/nephrite pendant. Light green, grey, and silver inanga variety. Probably Te Koroka source. Surface is ground; edges are sharp. Unique, irregular shape, possibly reworked from an adze or other tool. Oblique projection at the proximal end, with an off-centre suspension hole drilled from both sides. Another projection juts out at an angle from halfway down on one side, with straight edges. There is a worked indentation between the two projections on one side. Other side edge is straight from proximal end to distal end. Distal end is curved on one side and comes to a dull point on the other side.
