Adze, Toki
Complete pounamu adze. Surface is ground. Cross-section is rectangular. Reduction in the top of the butt. Poll is flaked. Bevel is demarcated by a concave indentation surrounded by a line with two lines on either side. Cutting edge is slightly curved and sharp. "Dunedin District." inscription on the back. Illegible inscription in pencil on the front of blade.
