Adze, Toki
Complete adze Cross-section of blade is rectangular, cross-section of butt oval. Surface is ground, becoming more bruised towards butt. Minor differentiation between butt and blade. Sides taper towards poll, and back reduced - sloping upwards towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved. Large chip on proper left side of cutting edge, removing portion of cutting edge and front blade.
