Gouge, Whao
Broken piece of gouge, lower blade and bevel end only. Greenstone. Oval cross-section. The surface is mostly bruised with flake scars at the break. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade but demarcated on the sides by ridges. The cutting edge is thing, curved and chipped.
