Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Asymmetrical cross-section. The surface is ground on the blade with bruising and flaking especially at the butt. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the butt taper in towards the poll. It is unclear which side has the bevel as both faces are smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is sharp and curved. There is the remnants of a piece of paper and adhesive on one side of the butt.
