Adze, Toki

Complete unfinished adze. Grey stone. Trapezoidal cross-section with the front narrower than the back. The surface is mostly ground with flaking and bruising on the sides. There is a slight reduction in the stone on the front of the butt, demarcated by an oblique irregular line. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade on the proper right. The proper left of the bevel is demarcated by a ridge. The cutting edge is straight, oblique and has small chips.
