Broken adze (blade and lower butt remaining). Stone. Black. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is mostly ground, becoming bruised on butt. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, sides slightly reduced forming small shoulder. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is chipped off. Mataura Valley written on back.
