Complete adze. Stone. Black. Cross-section of blade is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Cross-section of butt is circular. Surface of blade is mostly ground, with some bruising. Surface of butt is mostly bruised, back ground. Major differentiation between butt and blade. Front heavily reduced forming shoulder. Bevel is demarcated by a ridge at the chin, cutting edge is sharp and curved. Mataura Valley written on front.
