Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Grey. Cross-section of blade is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Cross-section of butt is semi-circular, back flattened. Surface is ground. Some kind of lichen-like substance on proper right side. Dark stains on back bade. Major differentiation between butt and blade, front and sides reduced forming shoulder, proper left side of poll chipped. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge heavily chipped, but is straight. Otago Central written on back.
